Goals

The Conservancy and all associated activities will work towards the following seven objectives:

1. Conserve an important wetland and arid-land environment.
2. Educate communities on the importance of the protection of natural resources and livestock management.
3. Explore alternative activities to wildlife poaching and forestry degredation.
4. Establish a sustainable management plan for all natural resources in the area.
5. Facilitate neighboring development for poverty reduction.
6. Create partnerships with academic and research organizations.
7. Partner with neighboring communities to establish a wildlife corridor and community eco-tourism between Lakes Elmenteita and Naivasha.
